Lest you think that we are obsessed and not well-rounded though, we will also include musings and ramblings about other food-related topics. You see, here at Pizza’zza, we love food. We love growing it. We love cooking it. We love talking about it. And yes, we love eating it. Just like you do. Because that’s why you choose us, right?
First, introductions. Many of you have met Will. He’s the man behind all the deliciousness. He’s the guy who seamlessly makes all the moving parts of a busy restaurant work together. He’s the brilliance behind what you see and taste when your nose draws you past the gas station pumps and into our little slice of heaven.
And no, Will isn’t bragging on himself; he’s not the narrator here. (Well, he’s the narrator of the larger Pizza’zza story, but not the narrator of this story.) Instead, I’ll introduce myself. I’m Erica, the emergent blog writer and pizza wife. And all blended together like the Zzapreme, we have four little pizza children: Hazel (AKA, the margarita with pineapple), Cedar (AKA, the pesto pepperoni, ham and pineapple), Sid (AKA, the pepperoni, ham, and pineapple) and Cooper (AKA, the pesto and pineapple). Notice the kid-pineapple theme?
A devotion to quality and supporting the local food economy is what sets Pizza’zza apart. It’s why we get up in the morning, why Will works (literally) around the clock, and simply why our pizza tastes so good. And beyond occasional ramblings about food and family and our local area, this blog will highlight the many ways Pizza’zza fits into the larger context of a healthy, thriving local food economy. We hope you’ll continue to join us, both at the restaurant and online.

Most of all, happy eating!
